About Wauwatosa School

Wauwatosa High School was established in 1876 and became Wauwatosa East High School prior to the 1961-62 school year.

As the city of Wauwatosa grew, with the annexation of the western portions of the city in 1954, Wauwatosa West High School also opened in 1961.

And now, the current high school building was opened in 1970.
