About Natchez Adams School

The city of Natchez, Mississippi, was founded in 1716 as Fort Rosalie, and renamed for the Natchez people in 1763.

In 2005, it had 1358 students and 73 teachers. 88% of the students were African-American and the remainder were white.

As of 2017, the school district is considering building a new campus for the high school and converting the former campus into a middle school.

Currently, it, however, now has an elementary, middle, and high school.
